Supplier Update: WA Supplier COVID-19 Update – Critical Worker Furloughing

21 March 2022

Dear Valued Supplier Partner,

I hope you are all keeping well. Our thoughts and support are with those impacted by the QLD & NSW floods at this time.

As we all know too well, the global pandemic has continued to cause disruption and still presents many challenges for us to overcome together. We are incredibly grateful for the support shown to date as we have partnered with you, continuing to collaborate and share open communication during these testing times.

Today is an extension of that as we want to provide you an important update on the latest Covid-19 practices that need to be adhered to in light of growing case numbers in Western Australia. In doing so, we aim to ensure we continue to look after each other and protect our team members, but also continue to support our customers right across Western Australia.

You will have received a short video hosted by Charlotte Rhodes, GM Dairy Freezer & Convenience and Ben Murphy, who heads up our Business Continuity & Response team, to take you through a quick presentation on what’s to come.

The Western Australian critical worker furloughing policy is now in place to ensure critical supply chains and services continue in a very high caseload environment. If you are an eligible supplier and have registered under this policy, your critical workers who are close contacts of a Covid-19 case and do not have symptoms may be able to leave isolation and go to work, in limited circumstances and for a limited period of time.

If you are struggling with Covid-19 requirements or with team availability due to Covid-19 impacts, please don’t hesitate to reach out and we will make every effort to support.

Thank you for your ongoing support and collaboration.

Thank you for your continued support.

Warm regards,

Greg Davis
