Message for suppliers - temporary network changes 2 September 2021

2 September 2021

Dear Valued Coles supplier,

First of all, we would like to take the opportunity to thank you for your continued support over the past year.

While we endeavour to support our operations during these everchanging times, we continue to provide the best availability for our customers by making temporary changes to the way our distribution centres service our stores across our Eastern Seaboard states (SA, VIC, NSW & QLD).

As a result, you might see an increase in order volumes for some DCs along with reduced order volumes for others. These changes will allow us to supply your products more efficiently and effectively to our stores.

We strongly recommend you review your order plans daily as any changes will always be reflected in your order plans. If you have any concerns on the impact to your operations or for any questions, please reach out to the Coles Supply Chain Teams as they will be available to respond to any queries.

Coles has also implemented a range of enhanced safety measures at all of our distribution centres to help our team members stay safe while continuing to keep Australians supplied with essential food and groceries.  This includes an increased frequency of deep cleans, additional cleaning of high-traffic areas, adjustments to shift times to maintain separation between team members, the implementation of ‘shift bubbles’ to further minimise contact between team members, including installation of additional facilities to maintain separation between bubble groups and sanitiser stations and check-in QR codes at all entrances and throughout the distribution centres.

For any queries please don’t hesitate to contact your Coles Supply Chain Contact.

Warm regards,

Greg Davis
